REBUILD/EXTENSION >

A late-Victorian residence in a conservation area that required a discrete second storey addition of two bed rooms, a living room and bath room. The ground floor required the demolition of a previous renovation and the provision of a new ensuite, WIR, guest bath room, kitchen, laundry, meals, family room and garage.

The new smaller footprint of our project was smaller, maximising the usable external areas and opening the house up to the northern garden. The restructuring gave an open flowing plan with screen walls that provided artwork display and defined alternate areas.

The interiors are an exercise in refined understated detailing and a sophisticated subtle colour palette.
