This refurbishment was of a timber house in suburban Hawthorn, Melbourne.

The house in its unrenovated state lacked a good kitchen, family, dining and bathroom areas.

The house had little visual contact with the garden and was dark and gloomy.

The renovation provided a generous open plan kitchen, dining and family area with rooflights and large doors and windows opening onto the garden at the rear.

A new bathroom, ensuite and laundry were provided to bring the house up to the standard expected today.
