GREAT OCEAN ROAD
This small beach house has enough presence of it’s own to stand with the iconic house beneath which it is to be built.
Its simplicity extols calmness but minimal shifts in its form create movement and tension in the space. This is contrary to the space disturbance of the multilayered, dominating form further up the hill, but no less determined.
